Our Friend and Fellow Umpire needs our Prayers and our Help.

Our good friend and fellow umpire Chris Coen was diagnosed with Burkitt's Syndrome Leukemia on January 4th, 2010. After many months of treatments, Chris is still battling the big C. He may be done with the actual treatments, but his body is worn down, his strength is sapped and he is emotionally drained. Yet he continues to worry about his job, his family and his health. We can help with specific prayers - but also with our own time and efforts. Chris's Victory Celebration is coming up on August 14 - and it looks like it truly will be the end of this long battle. And we need your help. Please visit www.chriscoencancerfund.com and get involved. Show your support for Chris - help him reduce at least some of his worries. Come join us for a great time. Now is your chance to step up and help.

Donate a Game!

What a great way to support our friend in his time of serious need...Donate a Game! NUA has set up a Donate a Game program for Chris and his family. Simply put, it's a two-hour donation that will go a long way to help alleviate the stress, fear and pain that this wonderful family faces. Shortly we will have a Donate a Game link. until then, call Jim Stros and let him know what games you would like to donate.
Please visit www.chriscoencancerfund.com to find out more about Chris. The next "Event Fundraiser" is a Victory Celebration BBQ & Concert on August 14th from 4-11 p.m. at Riverside Park in Roswell, Georgia. We hope to see you there.
